Ideas that Make a Difference

Of interest and benefit to students
10-12 minutes long (guest lecture)
3-5 minutes long (Clinical notes)
Master Clinician Network (MCN) was created to give students, faculty, and clinicians a window into the clinical process as conducted by expert-level clinicians. Since its founding in 2012, faculty have approved over 500,000 clinical observations using Master Clinician Network.
Guest Lectures are intended to inspire and inform, encompassing our history, beliefs, and passions. They are designed to provide graduate students with information that may help them meet the 2020 Standards for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and Audiology (CCC-A). Topics may include, (but are not limited to) speech and language disorders, ethics, interdisciplinary practice, supervision, and professional issues.
Clinical Notes should provide graduate students with ideas and/or examples that are designed to facilitate their development as clinicians. Topics may include, (but are not limited to) treatment techniques, use of materials, how to talk to parents and caregivers, working with clients who have behavioral issues, report writing, and assessment strategies.
