Two things to keep in mind when adding a student to your group:
1) If you are not able to find a student’s name, this means that the student does not have an active membership under your university affiliation.
If they believe that they have created an active account under your university affiliation, please encourage them to reach out to us, so that we can assist them.
This issue could be caused by a failed payment, but is most often the result of a student accidentally choosing the wrong university during sign-up.
2) Assignments will not auto-send retroactively if a student is added to a group after the assignment has been sent.
You will need to re-send the assignment either to the individual student, or to the group you have added the student to.
If you are sending guided observation assignments, you can re-send the assignment to the group, as guided observations will not duplicate.

Your GA will receive an email from no-reply@masterclinician.org with their password and instructions for log-in.
If they do not receive the welcome email, this is most likely caused by their email service employing a "filtered spam" or similar feature. These systems can impede your ability to receive auto-sent emails such as a password-reset email.
We would suggest that they check their email filter settings, and reset their password from the log-in page. They will want to make sure they can receive emails from no-reply@masterclinician.org.
If they continue to experience issues logging into their GA account, please encourage them to reach out to us directly so that we can assist them.

Once you click “Approve Assignment” the hours for that assignment are automatically added to the student’s Guided Observation Report.
On the Guided Observation Report, each individual guided observation is listed with the supervising faculty’s name and ASHA number, as well as the date that observation was approved. This is the faculty’s online signature for the hours earned in that video.
Your are welcome to physically sign a hard-copy of the report (at the bottom of the printed page), but it is not strictly necessary due to the presence of your online-signature.

If the supervising faculty member (for those specific videos) holds their CCC-A ,they are welcome to use these videos as audiology guided observations.
